    dignity and hope to millions who are uprooted and struggling to endure.


    Internship Overview:


    The Communications Intern will assist the Community Engagements & Outreach Coordinator
    in Social Media postings, communicationwith the community and community referral building. The CommunicationsIntern will identify and provide community resources to requesting clients and answerquestions from the public. Travel within Tallahassee may be required depending on
    project needs.


    Responsibilities:


    * Assist Community Engagement & Outreach coordinator in identifying and cataloguing
    available community resources
    * Assist in responding to community inquires on social media and email
    * Carry out administrative duties including data entry, filing, and labeling
    *Utilize Canva working with the development team to ensure all communications created are within the IRC standard, and are created in a timely manner and as needed.
    * Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    * Excellent communication and writing skills
    * Organized with attention to detail
    * Able to work independently and under pressure
    * An interest in international issues
    * Strong desire to help people and enthusiasm for working in a multi-cultural setting
    * Computer literacy - preferably with PC systems

    * Must pass a background check ($51.00 fee)
    * Must be at least 18 years old
    * Must attend IRC volunteer orientation training
    * Must commit to at least 15 hours a week

    Please note that this is an unpaid internship that will be based in Tallahassee, Florida. This position can be Hybrid or Remote.
