    Description

    Title:
    Cloud Design Engineer

    Location:
    Remote (But must be local to the Houston area)

    Duration:
    Permanent, Direct-Hire

    Work Requirements:
    US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US.

    Key Points:
    This position is remote, but candidates MUST be local to the Houston area for occasional onsite meetings
    Candidates must have experience in both Azure and AWS

    Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the IT Design Team.

    As a member of the IT Design team, you will be responsible for cloud infrastructure design and deployment of cloud services for our global cloud environment.

    The successful candidate will be well versed with both Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will collaborate with other teams within IT to deliver cloud solutions in accordance with our standards.

    Responsibilities & Qualifications:

    Azure Azure Network infrastructure design and deployment
    Familiarity with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption framework
    Azure Policy design/deployment and maintenance
    Azure IAM role development and deployment
    Design/Deploy Azure Management Groups

    AWS IAM integration with Azure AD
    AWS Control Tower
    AWS CodePipeline
    AWS CloudFormation
    AWS Organizations

    Common to both platforms:
    Azure DevOps (ADO) deployments
    Azure CLI
    PowerShell
    ADO repositories using tools such as GIT to maintain code
    Terraform (Azure and AWS)
    BiCep (Azure)
