    Description


    American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center in New Haven, CT.

    Details

    Short-term acute care hospital setting within a large academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 staffed beds
    Interventional Radiology unit with bi-campus coverage required (York Street Campus and Saint Raphael Campus)

    Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    No weekend requirement
    No on-call requirement
    Charting via Epic
    Parking cost is $125
    Requirements

    Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
    ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
    Trauma center experience at a large facility required
    License required if applicable — pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start date
    1 professional reference required for consideration
    Additional Information

    First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
    Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted for this specialty
    Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
    RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
    Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
    COVID vaccine exemptions are accepted for religious or medical reasons only
    OR scrubs in Misty Green are provided by the facility

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
