    Albany, Located in the heart of New York s Capital District, is a medium sized area with an approximate population of 98,000, offering all the amenities of a larger urban area in a beautiful, scenic, and affordable setting.


    Facility:
    Acute care community hospital- Providing 442 beds and has more than 900 staff physicians and nearly 6,000 employees.

    Opportunity:
    Medical Director will lead a team of five physicians and four advanced practitioners.

    The practice enjoys access to a tumor boards program, grand rounds, and treats a wide range of cancers including ample access to high quality surgical services; from breast to thoracic to hepatobiliary/pancreatic care.

    There is strong APP support in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
    Outpatient clinics located on hospital campus

    Schedule:
    Clinic Mon-Fri, 40 hour work week, days

    Call Rotation: 1:5

    50/50 Hem/Onc
    Numbers of physicians in practice: 4
    5 FT Rad Onc physicians on-site
    5 APPs on site
    Average number of patients per day(outpatient): 20-30
    Average number of patients per day(inpatient): 15-20
    440 bed community hospital
