    To be successful in this role, you:

    • Possess bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience required.
    • Have minimum five (5) years' experience with relational databases and web applications required.
    • Have two (2) years' healthcare experience strongly preferred.
    • Have automation test experience and cloud-based testing experience preferred.

    Essential functions and Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Applies approved practices for the analysis, design, and development of manual testing activities.
    • Develops and maintains test plans, test cases, requirements and test defect tracking and summary reporting.
    • Conducts testing including regression and integration of reports and web applications (UI, API, Webservices).
    • Complies with standards and procedures for deployment testing.
    • Consistently adheres to established standards for test protocols.
    • Works with test Team Lead/Manager and assigned work team to prepare estimates on testing efforts.
    • Participates in business requirement reviews to develop functional testing requirements for reports and extracts.
    • Communicates test status and other related issues to the Test Lead/Manager, management, or project manager.
    • Actively participate in established Agile/Lean SDLC processes.
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement in testing methods and standards.
    • Leads and participates in the development and implementation of process improvements.
    • Mentors and trains less experienced team members.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Experience in backend testing using SQL Server or Snowflake.
    • Ability to write advanced SQL queries for testing validation activities.
    • Experience testing web applications and API integrations.
    • Advanced experience using Test Case Management tools (Jira, Xray, DevOps, ALM).
    • Familiarity with programming languages; C#, .NET, Python, Angular.
    • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint).
    • Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with analysts, developers, and management.
    • Ability to lead small department work groups.
    • Moderate Data Analysis skills and understanding of automation and cloud-based testing.
    • Knowledge of the healthcare industry business transaction processing preferred.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    The position is FLSA Exempt and is not eligible for overtime. Based on market data, this position grade is 69 (see full range below) and has a 10% annual incentive target based on company, department, and individual performance goals.

    Sensory/Physical/Mental Requirements:

    Sensory*:

    • Speaking, hearing, near vision, far vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, touch, smell, and balance.

    Physical*:

    • Extended periods of sitting, computer use, talking and possibly standing
    • Simple grasp, firm grasp, fine manipulation, pinch, finger dexterity, supination/pronation, wrist flexion
    • Frequent torso/back static position; occasional stooping, bending, and twisting.
    • Some kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying (not over 25 pounds), twisting, and reaching.

    Mental:

    • Must have the ability to learn and prioritize multiple tasks within the scope and guidelines of the position and its applicable licensure requirements, many requiring extremely complex cognitive capabilities. Must be able to manage conflict, communicate effectively and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
