Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Millwright will be responsible for troubleshooting/repairing customer's rotating equipment in Chemetec's repair facility. Chemetec repairs rotating equipment for customers in the Chemical, Refining, and Pulp/Paper Industries. She / he is to provide necessary technical and hands on support to continuously improve Chemetec's repair and maintenance facility. She/ he must also be able to present themselves professionally in front of customers that may come to the facility for a visit.
Qualifications / Requirements:
· Must be a safety oriented individual that is able to work in a team environment.
· 2 year technical/vocation degree Preferred but not required
· Minimum of 5 years strong industrial (Chemical/Petrochemical) maintenance experience and/or equivalent military experience.
· Must be a self-starter with a solid work history and excellent references along with the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
· Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of static and rotating equipment using appropriate tools and test equipment.
Technical School Graduates: Students with a background in Industrial Systems, Machine Tool Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, HVAC, Process Technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation Technology are encouraged to apply.
