- Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the hospital setting.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Nocturnist Coverage:
- Provide nocturnist coverage during overnight hours, ensuring continuous and effective patient care.
- Manage and coordinate admissions consultations as needed.
- Manage all acute care Patients overseeing their care and Plans.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to deliver seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and addressing concerns.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay updated on current medical literature and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification.
- Current and unrestricted APRN or PA license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or hospitalist settings preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
