- Ensuring engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests safely and effectively
- Responsible for testing aircraft systems using Technical Orders and Aircraft Test procedures (ATP)
- Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering, aircrew and line management
- Reviews status of test requirements, tracks test metrics, manages schedules and prepares reports.
- Works with and supervises flight line technicians during test
- Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering
- Must have a High school Diploma/Equivalent AND 9 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience in lieu of a degree OR an Associate of Science degree AND 7 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience in lieu of a degree OR a Bachelor of Science degree AND 5 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree AND 3 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 0 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience in lieu of a degree to include a background in a systems test environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to read and understand USAF Technical Orders, engineering blueprints and drawings
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Must have 13 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience OR an Associate of Science degree AND 11 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience OR a Bachelor of Science degree AND 9 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience t OR a Master of Science degree AND 7 years of qualifiable related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 4 years qualifiable related professional/military experience in lieu of a degree to include a background in a systems test environment

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Principal / Senior Principal Test Conductor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The B-2 PDM Test Engineering Organization within Depot & Modification Center (D&MC) is seeking a test conductor to join our team in Palmdale.

Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range 2: $120,900 - $181,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
