    Description

    Network Engineer I

    Location: Englewood, CO

    Contract Duration: 6-12 month contract with likelihood to convert or be extended

    Pay Rate: $30-32/hr DOE

    Overview: The Edge Network and DOCSIS team at our Telecom client is looking to add a Network Engineer I to the team to support configuration changes, network enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting for new technology being implemented in the field.

    Skill Set

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
    • Strong communication skills and drive to work hard to support projects and troubleshooting efforts.
    • Looking for someone who wants to grow their career and continue learning.
    • Any previous customer service experience is nice to have.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the implementation of approved network/video architecture and designs
    • Assists in the documentation and implementation of configuration changes to network systems of varying complexity.
    • Responsible for troubleshooting and testing new technologies or issues in the field.
    • Develop and implement network/video enhancements while following corporate standards.
    • Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
    • Ability to use personal computer and software applications.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
