    Next Level Technician is looking to hire a full-time Conduit Installer in Columbia, SC.

    Next Level Technician is seeking a skilled and dedicated Conduit Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing conduit systems, including electrical and data conduits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

    We provide all our technicians with a Signing Bonus, PTO and Weekly Pay

    Technicians at NLT will be working at a variety of Commercial and Industrial sites. Each site and scope of work will be unique and will add to the skillset and knowledge of the technician. Site conditions may range from new construction to existing and work may vary from inside to outside. Hours vary as do jobsites but most jobs will be first shift with the occasional second shift. Technicians will be installing structured cabling such as CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, Fiber and Coax.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install conduit systems (rigid, EMT, PVC, flexible) according to blueprints and electrical codes.
    • Measure, cut, bend, and thread conduit accurately.
    • Secure conduit using appropriate methods and tools.
    • Pull wires and cables through conduit systems.
    • Collaborate with electricians and other team members to ensure seamless installation.
    • Inspect installations to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Proven experience as a Conduit Installation Technician or similar role.
    • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
    • Proficiency in using tools and equipment for conduit installation.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
