California Correctional Health Care Services
Job Description and Duties
Effective July 1, 2023, employees in this class, working within California Correctional Health Care Services and involved in direct in-person patient care, will receive a pay differential of 15% of their base pay.
Effective May 01, 2022, employees in this class, employed within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, assigned to the Psychiatric Inpatient Program, will receive a pay differential of 15% of their base pay.
Recruitment and Retention Bonus available for newly hired clinicians with California Correctional Health Care Services.
Under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist, Correctional Facility Supervisor, the Psychologist-Clinical, Correctional Facility, will handle preadmission screenings, inmate evaluations, crisis intervention, therapy, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Additionally, they may conduct program evaluation, research, and provide consultation on research design and data analysis.
