On-Site Position
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license in Texas or compact state (required for Texas nursing jobs)
Minimum 1 year of recent
CVICU nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular and critical care nursing
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
CVICU Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in a critical care setting
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced cardiac monitoring
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff in the
CVICU
