    Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects approaching $1B, spanning coast to coast.

    Headquartered in beautiful Carlsbad, CA, we are a full-service Design-Build company.

    We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects.

    We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.

    We are always on the look-out for future Project Engineer (PE) candidates who could join our Field Operations team. We are currently accepting general interest applications at this time.

    Project assignments could be located throughout North Carolina and will require working on an active project on a military base.


    PE's provide support for all assigned activities and phases of a commercial construction project from conceptual development to final completion, usually through administrating, organizing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring processes.

    On large projects, certain project management responsibilities may be delegated to the PE in accordance with one's level of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics.

    Local, Coastal Carolina candidates will be given priority, though relocation or travel to work on-site will be required for the PE position.


    A BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position.

    A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may be qualifying.

    Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.

    Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred.

    CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required. Training can be provided.

    LEED GA credential desirable.

    QCM certificate desirable.

    Prior commercial construction experience preferred.
