    Description

    Overview:

    We are looking for someone to handle clerical duties related to consumer payments and payoff processing within our department. The role involves completing data entry, system updates, and validation for various products. You will also be responsible for documentation review, research, and reconciliations.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Complete data entry, system updates, and validation for consumer payments and payoff processing.

    • Review and prepare documentation for consumer and mortgage maintenance.

    • Conduct research on maintenance, processing, and payoffs.

    • Perform reconciliations and exception processing.

    • Communicate with business partners, customers, and vendors as needed.

    • Conduct quality reviews and provide feedback to the team.

    • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

    • Identify and escalate risk-related issues.

    • Promote diversity and uphold the company's standards.

    • Maintain internal control standards and address audit points.

    • Perform other assigned duties.

    Scope of Responsibilities:

    This position requires specialized knowledge of servicing systems, products, and regulations, with moderate supervision and room for reasonable judgment.

    Education and Experience Required:

    - Associate's degree, or a combined minimum of 2 years' higher education/work experience

    - Customer service experience

    - Proficiency in computers, spreadsheet, and word processing software

    - Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    Education and Experience Preferred:

    - At least 1 year of relevant experience
