    Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    A unique opportunity is available for an experienced nurse skilled in Operating Room Technology (ORT) to support surgical services in Petoskey, MI. This contract role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic surgical team performing a comprehensive range of procedures from general elective surgeries to critical, life-saving operations.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist surgical teams during various types of procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
    • Prepare the operating room, ensuring all equipment and tools are sterile and ready for use
    • Monitor patient status and surgical environment throughout procedures
    • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to provide exceptional surgical support
    • Maintain detailed records and documentation of surgical activities and patient care

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Proven nursing experience in an operating room or related surgical setting, specifically with ORT skills
    • Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room safety standards
    • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environments
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
    • Current nursing license and certification as applicable
