Shape the future of our managed Kubernetes products

With your Kubernetes expertise, you can design and amplify the scale and performance of Linode's Kubernetes Engine (LKE) product to meet customer demands.

You will be responsible for evolving the scale, performance, security, and capabilities of our managed Kubernetes platform. You will provide a simple and seamless experience developers have come to expect from Linode.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Creating new features from scratch, enhancing and optimizing existing functionalities
Working on a software development lifecycle from concept and design through development, testing, deployment and sustainment
Learning and adopting cloud-native technologies and architectures
Enabling a simple and seamless way for our customers to deploy and operate their Kubernetes clusters
Collaborating with engineering teams in an Agile environment to sustain a product portfolio
Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and healthy, constructive discussion
Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:
Have deep experience building Kubernetes Platform Clusters with scale and Cloud Native technologies
Have advanced knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as Operator creation, Cluster API, and Container Network Interfaces
Have experience with Container Runtimes (e.g. docker, containers, etc)
Demonstrate significant experience with Linux, Go, Python
Be comfortable working with a remote, international team spread across Czechia, Poland and USA
