Job Summary: As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Melaleuca, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee quality events, conducting thorough investigations when necessary and initiating Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to maintain our high standards. Additionally, you will assist in product evaluations to guarantee our offerings meet our stringent quality criteria.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential:

• Take ownership of maintaining quality events within our Quality Management System (MasterControl).
• Review and analyze quality event information, including Incident Reports, Deviation Reports, and Non-Conforming Material Reports, to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to gather relevant information related to quality events.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations of quality events, providing support to various teams as needed.
• Lead Material Review Board meetings with management to determine appropriate actions for Non-Conforming Material Reports.
• Perform data mining and trend analysis on quality events to identify patterns and metrics.
• Assist with annual product reviews to ensure ongoing product quality.
• Participate in Change Control processes as required.

Additional:

• Undertake any other duties as assigned or needed to support the quality assurance function.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential:

• Possess an Associate's degree or higher in an applied science or mathematics.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in a regulated industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of Federal Regulations pertaining to manufacturing and distribution.
• Proficient in following written procedures and policies.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Strong verbal and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical or statistical skills, particularly in data trending.
• Ability to organize and coordinate projects effectively, managing multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Self-motivated and task-oriented.

Additional:

• Capable of climbing stairs.
• Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
