You will also set financial goals for various departments, prepare revenue forecasts, implement new financial plans and policies, and work with financial analysts to ensure the company is in excellent financial health.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience working on finances and accounts, has excellent analytical skills, and has the ability to step back from a single department and see the larger company-wide picture.
Responsibilities Work closely with every department to create financial goals, budgets, and plans that align with the overall company budgets and financesCreate reports based on the financial health of the company, and present these reports to stakeholders and other managementForecast revenues and make financial projectionsEnter financial data and transactionsVerify the accuracy of transactions that have been enteredOversee financial compliance of the company as a wholeCollaborate with tax advisors for the group with all tax related mattersCreate accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulationsCollaborate with external auditors and conduct internal auditsQualifications Bachelors degree in accounting or a related fieldValid CPA certification in compliance with the state Board of Accountancy regulationsPrevious experience in energy sector a plusKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)10 years of demonstrated experience handling a multinational company-wide financesStrong analytical skills in accounting, consolidation and taxesStrong leadership and teamwork skillsFluent in English and SpanishExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skillsGood with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
