- Assist personnel with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
- Offer daily operations and system support to assigned personnel
- Verify functionality of hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person/remotely via the phone
- Assist employees with computer problems and answer questions
- Diagnose and correct problems with computer hardware and software
- Conduct system backups as required
- Documenting work in trouble ticket and project management software
- Communicating with the end-user and team members
- Perform system troubleshooting
- Associate degree in Applied Computing/Computer Science (additional experience or training will be considered in lieu of degree)
- CompTIA Security+ and A+ certifications
- 3 years' experience in diagnosing, repairing, and installing computer systems and desktop support through experience with both windows and apple products and services
- Knowledge in DNS fundamentals
- Networking fundamentals
- Microsoft Windows Products including:
- Windows Server (2016,2019,2022)
- Windows 10/11 Pro/Enterprise
- Experience in Microsoft Windows Active Directory and managing User and Computer objects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy and ability to diagnose issues related to applied policies.
- Experience with Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot.
- Experience with Office 365 products and associated services including
- SharePoint
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Teams
- OneDrive for Business
- Ability to multi-task, work with a team and follow procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Familiarity with working with the Department of Defense and its branches.
