Job summary
The Controls Wiring Field Supervisor leads a team of Controls wiring field technicians to enhance the performance of Control wiring technicians.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include coordinating with PM on start date and manpower needs Serves as liaison between field and office Assists with onboarding process for new technicians Provides regular feedback coaching to technicians on their performance to expectations Hiring field associates based on workload This also includes working with temp staffing company if additional manpower is needed Hold all field associates accountable for their actions that require disciplinary action Review approve field associate weekly time expenses accuracy Weekly onsite job visits as projects are in progress Maintains schedule board ensure it is accurate at all times Represents team at quarterly Team Leader meetings provides team feedback including any updates Performs annual performance reviews with each field technician sets goals addresses all performance issues provides recognition for exemplary performance Assist Ops Manager provides oversight of respective team resources Forecasts anticipated staffing needs territory Project Managers Flexibility work overtime weekends required Regular travel requirements overnight travel TEAMWORK Demonstrate promote spirit cooperation teamwork throughout Company Continually look improve processes ability serve customers effectively Improve personal performance continual basis CUSTOMER SERVICE Provide responsive professional diplomatic customer service Answer customer calls correspondence quickly pleasantly Communicate customers friendly professional patient manner Perform duties building maintaining long-term customer relationships Immediately address concerns requests involvement other Company personnel required SAFETY Follow company safety programs report non-compliance Team Leader Notify Team Leader Safety Director unsafe conditions Proper PPE equipment used necessary Report accidents injuries Team Leader HR immediately All monthly training topics safety completed done month due SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees Controls wiring Department Carries out supervisory responsibilities accordance organization policies applicable laws Responsibilities interviewing training employees planning assigning directing work appraising performance rewarding disciplining employees addressing complaints resolving problems QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required Associate preferred minimum years experience scheduling dispatching required years customer service experience HVAC industry plus COMPUTER SKILLS Frequent use computers mobile devices Microsoft products manage business processes tasks CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS Valid driver license LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability read analyze interpret service bulletins technical procedure manuals equipment specifications governmental regulations Ability write reports policies business correspondence procedure manuals Ability present information respond questions top management customers service personnel MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability work mathematical concepts probability statistical inference fundamentals plane solid geometry trigonometry Apply concepts fractions percentages ratios proportions practical situations>
