    JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    The Communications Information and Navigation Office (CINO) within the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking Cyber Operators to join our National Business Park (NBP) team. These positions will provide strategic-level subject matter cyber domain expertise on new capability development, ongoing operations, and vulnerability research. You will work hand-in-hand with the sponsor to provide high-quality operational and technical solutions to wide ranging cyber issues affecting the Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community. Mission focus is to enable and protect the warfighter.

    The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of cyber operations. This position requires expert-level technical skills, as well as organizational leadership, and experience within the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Current working knowledge of cyber topics (i.e. cyber operations, mission planning, training, technology roadmaps, analytics, operations, testing and evaluation, etc.) is critical.

    Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Research and develop tailored cyber capabilities
    • Identify cyber vulnerabilities
    • Research the RF environment and the EM Spectrum
    • Make hiring recommendations that meet the sponsors' mission objectives
    • Business development is required
    Required skills/experience areas include:
    • Cyber Operations
    • Cyber Tool Development and Maintenance
    • Ability to tackle highly technically challenges
    Preferred skills/experience areas include:
    • Active government security clearance with CI poly
    • Understanding of DoD and IC Cyber Ops and policies
    • Vulnerability Scanning
    • Operations in congested and contested environments
    Your working location will be fully on-site, located at our National Business Parkway office in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

    The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:

    $68, $129,500.00
