- Oversees the monthly preparation of financial statements and related supporting schedules, including transmission of financial information into the corporate consolidation software. Independent review of all reconciliations and reports and communicates financial results. Oversees annual SOX audits and responsible for oversight of the maintenance of the company's internal control processes and the key controls surrounding those processes for both Finance and IT.
- Provide leadership, guidance, using analytics and judgment in being a business partner to other senior executives and the various departments within the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, strategies related to capital expenditure, pricing, customer profitability, competitor analysis, business development, technologies, cost management, etc.
- Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.
- Provide leadership in the development and achievement of short and long-term strategic objectives which will enhance the financial performance of the business segment.
- Oversees the FP&A function of developing and implementing internal reporting using Power BI, annual budgeting and forecasting, and analysis of financial results.
- Oversees the IT functions of the business segment which includes security of all IT assets, adherence to ICSP policies, network configurations, maintaining and enhancing the MES system. Drives the implementation of new technologies from a business perspective.
- Responsible for preparing all financial-related results, forecasts, and industry research in updates to both the Executive Leadership team and the Board of Directors (BOD). This entails working closely with the Presidents to prepare and review quarterly updates for the BOD, the strategic plans, and any other reporting and strategic planning requested.

- The VP of Finance is often called on to represent the business segment on special Corporate-related initiatives across companies.
- The VP of Finance has a heavy dotted line of responsibility to executive leadership.
- Travel to Phoenix on a minimum of quarterly basis will be required to maintain a Finance and IT presence at that location.
- Position requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, CPA or MBA preferred and 10 years of experience in a financial management leadership position.
- Successful candidates will have proven leadership experience with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
- At least 10 years of recent, progressive Finance experience in a manufacturing environment that provides the following skills and abilities:
- Strong working knowledge of general and cost accounting principles and practices as they relate to the manufacturing industry.
- Strong working knowledge of the ERP system as it relates to internal and external financial reporting and the manufacturing industry.
- Experience reporting to a corporate/publicly traded company. This includes a general knowledge of SEC reporting.
- Experience leading & developing a highly knowledgeable and efficient team. (Engagement, recognition, performance, succession, accountability, guidance & support.)
- High level of experience related to the use of Microsoft Office Professional Suite and related accounting ERP software and related teleconferencing applications.
- Ability to coach, mentor, develop and lead Finance and IT staff and coordinate their activities.
- The ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and have good public relations skills, plus the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
