Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, providing on-the-spot support for vehicle breakdowns and emergencies
- Diagnose common vehicle problems using mechanical knowledge and specialized tools
- Perform repairs such as changing tires, jump-starting batteries, or replacing minor parts using hand tools and power tools
- Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical components and identify faults accurately
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each call
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to prioritize tasks and ensure timely service delivery
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles and their systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters
- Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently in diverse outdoor conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
