As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a Capco team working with clients in the energy and financial services industries.
You will be responsible for analysis, design and consulting support, as well as developing an understanding of our client's strategic direction, issues and project goals.
You will be the liaison between business and technical users, and work to ensure requirements are accurately gathered and translated.
What You'll Get to Do:
Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications to identify gaps between the current state and future stateCreate business requirement documents (BRD's)
Document and explain problems and work to resolve technical defects while ensuring technical compatibility and end-user satisfactionAnalyze, develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectivenessAssist in conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summariesProduce high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables (proposals, customer presentations, consulting reports) to effectively communicate project findingsWhat You'll Bring with You:3+ years of experience working as a Business AnalystExperience working for a management and/or technology consulting firm highly desiredSystem implementation experience nice to haveAbility to determine business objectives by reviewing business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formatsAbility to research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processesExperience working with project stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirementsStrong PowerPoint and Excel skillsAbility to review data requirements and map to system fieldsAbility to monitor and communicate project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actionsWhy Capco?
