- Operates forklift/powered equipment safely and responsibly.
- Wraps pallets
- Truck loading and unloading
- Practices the highest standards of GMP's.
- Documents safety checks on fork-lifts/powered equipment before use
- Ensures accurate documentation of all inbound paperwork.
- Completes activity movement sheets daily.
- Reports any product or property damage to DC Superintendent or DC Manager
- Work with the Quality and Food Safety Team to ensure the quality and specifications of the product are continually being met.
- Take necessary measures if people perform unsafe acts or are in a dangerous environment.
- Key contributor to the maintenance of FSSC 22000 system
- Uphold all rules about the confidentiality of information regarding Lactalis products, recipes, and employee information.
- High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
- Previous employment in a food industry setting is preferred.
- Basic mathematical and computer skills are required.
- Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience
- Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
- Stable and dependable work history is required.
- Inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO system formats.
- Forklift and pallet jack operation.
- Basic data entry skills
- Experience with forklift and power-driven equipment operation/knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Manual dexterity
- Vision abilities (close, distance color, and ability to focus)
- Push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally,
- Stand/walk for an entire shift.

We are offering a $2,000* Hiring Bonus to candidates for hourly positions. *Bonus amount is a gross amount. $1,000 will be paid out in following paycheck 90 days after hire; an additional $1,000 will be paid out in following paycheck 180 days after hire. Temporary, part-time and certain rehired employees are not eligible.
**Employees with attendance and/or performance infractions as stated in the policy will not be eligible for bonus pay out.
Pay: $25.25/hr with shift premium. Weekend Premium 20%. Lactalis offers very competitive pay, benefits and paid time off.
