US Trades & Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team.As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure electrical systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, installation techniques, and local codes and regulations.You will be responsible for reading blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settingsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirementsCoordinate with other trades and project teams to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly and on timeInspect and test electrical systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulationsTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, outlets, and switchesProvide estimates for electrical projects and materialsTrain and mentor apprentice electriciansMaintain accurate records of work performed and materials usedQualifications:Journeyman ElectricianHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installation and repairStrong understanding of electrical systems, installation techniques, and local codes and regulationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:
The Journeyman Electrician will work primarily on construction sites or in existing buildings, which may involve exposure to hazardous materials, equipment, and conditions.
The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.Physical Requirements:
The Journeyman Electrician must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods, as well as lift and move up to 50 pounds.
