Description
SAIC seeks a Model Based Systems Engineer to support the Space Development Agency (SDA) and (USAF) in its goal of developing an interoperable system of system in a Distributed Battle Management Systems (DBMS) and Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) environment.
The goals include achieving alignment with the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) vision of improved information sharing, layered security, common data and architecture standards, system resiliency, faster implementation, and more effective cross-domain capabilities, including the ability for any sensor to inform any shooter across all domains.
The position requires an individual with strong technical project management skills, experience in Agile Engineering, and automated and integrated test management.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and twelve (12) years or more experience.
Target salary range:
$150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy:
SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
