Programmer Analyst (mid or senior level)Data Recognition Corporation - Maple Grove, MN
This position will collaborate to define, develop, and execute a programs workflow/systems to ensure the highest levels of service and quality are attained.
Execute production workflows, create and maintain technical documentation and manage large databases. Assist in analyses, write SQL scripts and test code to achieve the business requirements. 3+ years IT work experience in production support, programming, development~ MS SQL knowledge and experience required
~ Workflow setup and configuration, execution and support (40% development, 30% execution, 30% support)
~ Demonstrate an understanding of business and technical requirements for each assigned project
Demonstrate an understanding of system performance expectations for application being developed
Work as part of a project team to meet or exceed customer expectations
Work with IT Business Analysts to create and update requirements
Create and perform unit test plans with expected results
Maintain and support applications as needed
Participate in project meetings
Identify efficiencies to enhance functionality and performance of applications. May lead projects of moderate complexity
Maintain legacy applications
Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related field OR equivalent work experience
~3+ years IT work experience in production support, programming and development
~ Ability to understand and edit XML data
