At CSAA Insurance Services, Inc.'s office in Glendale, Arizona, perform hands-on application development using AWS services, including but not limited to S3, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, SQS, SNS, and Build Tools. Be involved in designing and building capabilities and services in a continuous delivery model on a Guidewire cloud software as a service platform. Conduct hands-on integration development with Smart Communications Rest APIs and any Customer Communication and Document Management Platforms. Partner with leads and architects to help establish a technical vision and deliver innovative capabilities which are consistent, maintainable, and highly scalable for various commerce experiences. Work within microservices architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful APIs using Java and NodeJS. Work in a distributed and cloud-based environment, including Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes and related technologies. Use modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Practice full DevOps to ensure a culture of testing and releasing software on Amazon Web Services continuously using automation and monitoring. Leverage NoSQL using Amazon Web Services to ensure data storage is designed for security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance. Deliver software in a Scrum of other agile development process/methodologies. Perform technical code reviews and pair programming. Partner with other teams to ensure the service ecosystem is loosely coupled and scalable. May lead and mentor other Software Developers. May work remotely within commuting distance of Glendale, AZ office.
Requires Master's degree in Computer Science, an Engineering discipline, or a related field and 3 years of application development coding using AWS services, and designing and developing microservices. Alternatively, requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the requisite fields and 5 years of application development coding using AWS services, and designing and developing microservices.
