- Job Relationships:
- Reports to Lead Pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy; collaborates with department directors, providers, patients, families and employees of RAMC as well as vendors, public, civic organizations, regulatory agencies and other provider organizations.

- Education and Training Required:
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, additional education preferred.
- ASHP accredited hospital pharmacy (PGY-1) residency training preferred
- Licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
- Certification by Board of Pharmacy preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year hospital experience or completion of ASHP accredited hospital pharmacy (PGY-1) residency training preferred.

- Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, manual/fine dexterity, grasping, and hearing-close distance.
- Occasional bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling and squatting.
- Occasional ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Sight:
- Near and far vision is required in order to visualize computer screens, review documents, assist patients and other members of the healthcare team.
- Cognition/Communication:
- Ability to participate in all aspect of communication in regards to writing, reading, math, hearing and comprehensive speech skills.
- Environmental Conditions:
- Work is largely performed in a pleasant, indoor hospital environment.
- Potential Hazards:
- OSHA Class 1: Class 1 HCWs, as defined by the OSHA Blood borne Pathogen Standard, will receive additional and specialized education on infection risks related to their employment and on preventive measure that will reduce those risks.
- Occasional exposure to infectious blood/body fluids and diseases requiring infection control practices, red infectious waste.
- Occasional exposure to needles/syringes/sharps during medication administration, assistance with treatments, invasive procedures.
- Occasional exposure to chemical compounds of medication and treatments (chemotherapy).
