    Description

    Job Summary:
    The Director of Retail is responsible for the operational efficiency of the property's multiple retail operations.

    This individual will be responsible for management of the team, creative concepts, and driving sales through proper standards and an exceptional guest experience.

    Supervises personnel in purchasing, selling, stocking, handling, displaying, and inventory.
    Successful applicants should be hardworking, dependable, and have effective communication and organizational skills.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Coaches and develops managers,

    supervisors and staff.
    Holds regular team meetings and

    communicates regularly with staff.
    Manages the business unit's financial performance including sales, profitability, and key metrics through proper in-store operations.
    Drives sales through guest experience,

    merchandising, and promotional activity.
    Ensures that all local, state, and

    federal policies and procedures are always followed.
    Responsible for the cleanliness of staff

    and retail store at all times.
    Actively participates in the hiring and

    training of all new team members.
    Maintains awareness of retail trends and

    provides feedback to leadership.
    Supervise and direct all retail

    operations.
    Prepare, monitor, modify, and make

    recommendations relative to the Buying and Merchandising Plan for goods.
    Oversee and assist in monthly inventories

    of all retail areas.
    Assist and oversee the ordering,

    tracking, checking in, and displaying of merchandise.
    Any other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:7+years of

    experience in Retail Operations management required.
    3+ years of

    multi-unit managerial experience preferred.
    Experience

    in luxury, fashion, hospitality, or high-end retail preferred.
    Proficient

    in Microsoft Office, POS software, procurement and inventory systems

    software.
    Strong

    financial acumen with experience in analyzing financial statements and

    labor productivity.
    Visual

    merchandising expertise with focus on driving same store sales.
    Demonstrate

    good listening and analytical skills.
    Flexible

    work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
    Ability

    to communicate clearly and effectively.
