    In December 2021, Brightstar Capital Partners ("Brightstar"), a private equity firm focused on partnering with families, founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, completed its acquisition of Novae LLC in partnership with the Company's two founders and senior management team.     As the business continues to reach toward our next level of organizational maturity, we are looking for an experienced and highly talented candidate to join the company as the Vice President of Sales.

    Job Summary: Lead a mission driven Sales team to meet or exceed revenue projections and contribute to the overall profitability of Novae by cultivating and strengthening partnerships with existing and prospective dealers through a growth-oriented and relationship-based management strategy.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Drive national commercial growth strategies and ensure profitable execution across the Novae portfolio of brands via our dealership network.
    • Define target markets, create Regional sales plans to profitably capture those markets, and set appropriate incentives for the Sales teams.
    • Represent and ensure the Novae customer value proposition is understood by the commercial team and is recognized as a differentiator with our customers.
    • Translate overall Novae revenue goals to establish Regional targets, forecasts and budgets for the Regional Sales functions, and drive execution of key growth initiatives.
    • Teach and coach Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers to employ a consultative approach with dealers regarding product usage, product features demonstration, pricing, availability, and overall growth strategies.
    • Identify needs and coordinate training of the Novae Sales team to build skills and help people develop to their fullest potential. Provide ongoing performance feedback to team members through formal and informal channels, including recognition and regular performance evaluation.
    • Collaborate with Marketing team to create necessary content and collateral to train dealers' team members to sell, operate and maintain new equipment, effectively communicate our value proposition and provide updates on any new selling features. Actively participate in trade shows and conventions.
    • Collaborate with Marketing team to create promotional materials that will support the Sales team relationships with dealers and will be meaningful to end users.
    • Monitor market conditions, industry innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales for trends and changes that will affect our brands and our dealer network. Develop and implement responses to observations and ensure we achieve objectives.
    • Collaborate with Sales leadership to create and negotiate details of dealer-specific agreements / incentives.
    • Continually look for ways to improve the overall performance of yourself and the Sales team.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred; or equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience. Master's degree may be helpful.
    • Excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills
    • Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude for technical sales
    • Strong customer service skills with proven experience in conflict resolution
    • Proven experience in negotiating win-win outcomes that align with organizational strategies
    • Critical and analytical thinking skills for conducting and sharing market research
    • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visual, and related software
    • Experience implanting and leveraging a CRM system
    • Able to balance overnight travel requirements of approximately 50% per year
    • Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical in order to drive Sales truck while pulling trailers to demonstrate products to dealers while traveling
