    SUMMARY:

    The position will have direct responsibility for the organization's Business Function financial activities (including but not limited to modeling, planning, forecasting, and reporting). Working in conjunction with the Finance and Marketing teams, this individual will utilize historical financial data and trends, along with forward-looking strategic objectives, to formulate models for different lines of business and drive multi-year execution of the models.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Modeling, Long-Term Planning & NPD Support
    • Build long-term models for O'Neill with a view to maximize EBITDA for each LOB or the consolidated Organization.
    • Align senior leadership and the Organization around the financial targets and continue refining the models incorporating actual results. Responsibilities include building Board presentations for total O'Neill.
    • Build strategic targets in conjunction with key partners across all levers of the P&L (Revenue, GP, Contribution, and EBITDA).
    • Overall ownership of long-term Strategic Planning and Annual Planning for total organization.
    • Provide support for M&A using models and scenarios and drive long-term evaluations / learnings from completed M&A.
    • Build 3YP / Annual Plans in conjunction with the refined models to drive execution in line with scenario planning. Work with the COO and head of Winemaking to drive long-term cost/capital planning.
    • Create a structure for Risk Planning / Risk Mitigation scenario modeling. Evaluate options in AI to help in scenario planning.
    • Create a financial structure to support NPD / Innovation. Provide solutions to Marketing & Innovation teams to drive quick decision-making and clear KPIs for the StageGate process.
    • Define a structure for SKU management and own discussion for productive / non-productive SKUs along with long-term rationalization or replacement.
    • P&L Management
    • Take ownership of the Monthly P&L and all associated month-end functions. Work with all departments on monthly Risks & Opportunities (R&O) process driving FY P&L forecasts.
    • Drive insights from monthly results across Revenue, Cost, A&P, and OH, maximizing annual and long-term EBITDA.
    • Work with Data Analytics and Sales Finance Team to drive efficiency in Pricing and A&P management.
    • Has ownership of O'Neill Resource Planning to ensure OH growth is in line with scenarios for each line of business.
    • Drive short-term/long-term cost savings and price increases with Commercial Finance brands to maximize EBITDA.
    • Provide continued oversight and guide further development of the monthly financial reporting for the cased goods segment of the business, which is a strategic focus for the future growth of the Company.
    • Drive efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining, standardizing, and automating financial transaction processing and reporting, utilizing technology wherever possible.
    • Assist in the month-end close process and creation of monthly/quarterly management binder review.
    • Provide support for finance teams as needed.
    • AD-HOC projects and reports as requested by management.
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (or a related field) plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A / Operations Finance.
    • Working knowledge of the sales/business cycles associated with a manufacturing or agriculture environment.
    • Technologically savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an advanced proficiency in Excel.
    • Strong detail and accuracy orientation. Proven analytical experience in accounting/finance; undeterred by challenges lacking a standard solution.
    • Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and self-directed, working well in a multi-task environment within the constraints of deadlines.
    • Ability to work with confidential information on a regular basis.
    • Proximity to our office in Larkspur, CA
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in the wine industry is preferred.
    • CPA, CMA, and/or MBA a plus.
    • Power BI knowledge is a plus.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment
    • Will require travel to the Larkspur office as well as to markets working with the local sales teams

    $140,000-165,000
