- Design the installation of aircraft Equipment and Crew Station hardware of Line Replacement Units (LRUs), Control Panels, other cockpit systems (displays, radios, etc) and their supporting hardware
- Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives optimizing form, fit, and function of the equipment installations
- Define, develop, and finalize equipment layouts and systems and harness interfaces
- Create BuildtoPackages for detailed parts, assemblies, and installations
- Coordinate with other technical disciplines for optimized integration at the aircraft level (producibility, maintainability, tooling, interchangeability, materials & processes, stress, etc.)
- Discover Fort Worth.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree.
- Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, or equivalent 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
- Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
- Experience with aircraft equipment installation design and troubleshooting
- Experience with 3DX or CATIA V5
- Experience with metallic design
- Experience with hand analysis for initial part layout

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $67,400 - $129,300 .
Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Non-represented full-time employees:
accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
