Job Title: RSA Archer Specialists

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite- Only Local Candidates)

Duration: Long term Contract

Role Overview

This role is responsible for planning, designing, configuring, and supporting
RSA Archer GRC solutions
to enable assessment, authorization, control assurance, issue management, and continuous compliance monitoring.

This is an onsite role in Austin, TX. Only local candidates will be considered.

Experience Level

• 4–7 years relevant experience in network/security analysis
• Experience working independently on complex assignments
• Strong understanding of security, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure systems

Required Certification (MANDATORY)

Candidate must have
ONE
of the following:

• Archer Certified Professional (ACP)
• OR
• Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator – Expert Certification

Candidates without certification will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

RSA Archer Administration & Configuration

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain RSA Archer applications including:
• Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
• Controls Assurance Program Management
• Issues Management
• Custom applications
• Enterprise integrations

Requirements & Solution Design

• Gather and analyze business/functional requirements
• Translate requirements into:
• Technical designs
• Configuration specs
• User stories
• Implementation plans

Application Customization

• Configure:
• Questionnaires & surveys
• Forms & workflows
• Calculations & data relationships
• Role-based access controls
• Data feeds & automated imports

Integration & Development

• Develop REST API integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ITSM, CMDB)
• Implement client-side customizations using JavaScript & jQuery
• Support automated data exchanges and external system connectivity

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain documentation for:
• System configurations
• Integration specs
• Testing & validation results
• Change management records
• Follow structured release & change management processes

Operational Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve Archer system defects
• Optimize performance
• Support user adoption through walkthroughs and knowledge transfer

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of RSA Archer platform architecture & data model
• Strong understanding of GRC frameworks & security control assurance
• Experience integrating Archer with enterprise systems
• Proficiency in JavaScript & jQuery
• Strong documentation & communication skills
• Experience in structured, change-controlled environments
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large enterprise or government GRC implementations
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Experience integrating Archer with ServiceNow
• Prior work in Information Security, Risk, or Compliance teams
