    seeks Dynamics CRM Delivery Managers in Irving, TX to manage successful delivery of D365 projects to Avanade clients through organization, management and monitoring of people, methodologies and technologies throughout the project life cycle.

    What you will do:

    In this position, you will:

    design, customize, develop, deploy, and integrate enterprise Dynamics business application solutions for Avanade and its clients including identifying, crafting and mapping the business processes to the application with a diverse set of environments with potential additional solutions at work.

    Work closely with both internal Avanade and client partners, from requirements-gathering through full implementation, and demonstrate capacity to encourage and sustain delivery of quality work; identify and implement ongoing improvement initiatives, processes and tools that support improvements in productivity, efficiency, issue resolution and cost; lead and manage projects in addition to managing a multi-million-dollar Business Applications project and services portfolio.

    Lead effective delivery of work to clients, ensuring alignment to Avanade methodologies and client satisfaction; balance scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks while monitoring, reporting and responding to issues and risks associated with the project; develop, implement, and maintain a detailed project work plan, including traceable requirements, appropriate controls, governance structures and monitoring to ensure timely, on-budget and quality outcomes; engage and partner with appropriate onshore, offshore and nearshore workforces, including service licensing agreements; develop and implement change management and change-enablement processes throughout project duration; conduct detailed analyses/interviews to understand and explain client problems and utilize standard consulting engagement practices such as facilitation, interviewing, and gap analysis; provide input for workshops and support clients in service delivery transformation; and assist in the sales process, including estimating work effort and expenses using Avanade's standard tools.

    Periodic travel to client sites is expected. Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of Irving, TX.
    Skills and experiences

    The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Technology Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.

    Employer will accept a bachelor's equivalent based on a combination of education and experience as determined by a professional evaluation service.

    The position also requires at least eight (8) years of experience as a Dynamics CRM Delivery Manager, or in a similar role in an IT or IT consulting environment.


    A qualified applicant's experience must include: 8 years of experience with project/program management in complex mid-to-large sized programs including: workplan/scope/financial management, contract/commercial management, vendor/ecosystem management; 6 years of experience applying project management knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM to deliver complex customized technical implementations within the Sales and Field Service verticals; 8 years of experience utilizing Delivery Management tools such as Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps for project management and reporting; 8 years of experience communicating and presenting complex information to technical and business partners, both verbally and in written form.


    Characteristics that demonstrate success for this role:
    A minimum of 8 years of experience consulting with external clients on complex projects, including in project leadership roles.
    At least 5 years of experience managing cross functional teams implementing technology solutions both on and offshore.

    At least 5 years of experience supporting client business executives in the proposal of additional client opportunities and support in the drafting and presentation of RFP responses.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience with project/program mobilization and recovery of Dynamics 365 CE engagements (approx. $2 million-$10 million).
