    Description

    The Courseware ISD Specialist is responsible for curriculum development, developing and delivering communications curriculum for instructor-led training programs supporting our customers' professional development programs. This position requires expert knowledge in adult learning theories, methods, strategies, best practices, techniques of instructional curriculum development, and evaluation to assist in the development and delivery of lessons related to communications training.

    • Responsible for the development and production of training and instructional materials for new and revised courses, training aids, and prototype training materials.
    • Design, develop, validate, and evaluate training.
    • Ensure major principles, theories, and research findings in human learning and cognitive psychology are applied.
    • Use current trends, practices, and theories in adult education and training.
    • Utilize a systematic approach to the design, development, and evaluation of training materials/courses.
    • Apply principles, methodologies, and models of instructional systems design.
    • Write, proofread, and edit training content in all delivery media for objectivity, consistency, writing style, manner of presentation, and format.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements
    • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required.
    • 2 years' experience in:
    -Designing, developing, or providing educational or training services in formal education or training programs that require knowledge of learning theory and the principles, methods, practices, and techniques of the education or training instructional systems field.

    -Performing duties such as planning, coordinating and developing components of a training program; developing, reviewing and revising instructional materials for courses or occupations in accordance with specific learning objectives; developing, reviewing or evaluating all aspects of education or training programs for support of an institutional or occupational training program; solving a wide range of educational and training program problems; or providing advice to key officials on all aspects of policy, planning, review, and research related to instructional or training development mission at the level of the assigned activity;

    -Comprehensive background in developing training materials and courseware with various forms of multi-media.
