Linux Administrator with Devops Scripting - Alpharetta

Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to join our IT infrastructure team.Administer, maintain and optimize RHEL servers across development testing and production environments Monitor system performance identify bottlenecks and implement performance tuning solutions Manage user accounts permissions security policies using PAM SELinux firewall configurations
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hardware operating system troubleshooting scripting abilities familiarity with DevOps cloud technologies being valuable assets Collaborate with development DevOps teams to support application deployments infrastructure automation Document system configurations procedures troubleshooting guides Required Qualifications Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Llinux system architecture boot process kernel management Expertise in hardware troubleshooting including servers storage arrays network equipment Proficiency with system diagnostics tools methodologies root cause analysis Experience package management RPM YUM DNF repository configuration Solid understanding networking concepts TCP IP DNS DHCP routing VLANs Knowledge storage technologies LVM RAID configurations file systems ext4 XFS Experience virtualization platforms KVM VMware similar Strong problem-solving skills ability work pressure during outages Good to Have Scripting experience Bash Python Perl automation tasks Familiarity configuration management tools Ansible Puppet Chef Awareness DevOps principles practices Experience cloud platforms AWS Azure Google Cloud knowledge containerization technologies Docker Podman Kubernetes Understanding CI CD pipelines Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions Exposure infrastructure as code Terraform CloudFormation Experience monitoring logging tools Nagios Prometheus Grafana ELK stack Knowledge version control systems Git Certifications Preferred Red Hat Certified System Administrator RHCSA
