    Description

    A highly regarded law firm is seeking experienced candidates for a Benefits Assistant position in their Washington D.C. office. The firm is seeking candidates who can start immediately with advanced excel experience. This is a contract role, with pay starting at $24 per hour (dependent on experience).

    1. Start: ASAP through the end of July (could potentially go into August)
    2. Will assist with processing benefit invoices (via Chrome River), drafting benefits related communications for new hires/terminations, update a tracking spreadsheet for wellness webinars, upload participation via the wellness platform portal (Virgin Pulse).
    3. Assist Benefits Manager with wellness fair preparation tasks. And other duties as assigned.
    4. Should be proficient in Excel but does not need to have prior HR/Benefits experience (formatting/tables, data entry, formulas)
    5. Discretion and confidentiality. Professional and poised—strong verbal and written communication.
    6. At least 1 year of professional, office/administrative experience
    7. Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote). Tues, Wednesday, Thursday.

    Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate's general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
