    Whats the position?

    As VP, Treasury you will lead and the manage the divisions debt, investments, banking and key funding relationships. You will have primary responsibility for developing the plans for the divisions borrowings and investment strategies. This will include direct responsibility of cash flow management, investment management, financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting; and cash management planning in domestic and international treasury. You will use an analytical mind to take control and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Key responsibilities

    Strategic financial planning

    • To facilitate the strategic allocation of the divisions financial resources to support the operational and investment objectives
    • To coordinate, develop and communicate the organisations funding, investment and treasury risk management policies and strategies
    • To appraise new and initiative funding opportunities and make recommendations
    • To develop direct and indirect cashflow forecasting to manage a highly seasonal business with daily volatility in margins aligned to the company forecasts.

    Cash Management

    • To manage daily treasury operations including funding requests for cash transactions with parent and properties within the Hard Rock group
    • To ensure all cash transactions with payment providers are reconciled and reported for the division
    • To ensure timely reporting of the Treasury position including required payments for Taxes, creditor and Group funding payments
    • To maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that have adequate levels of control over treasury activities and provide support for regulatory reporting
    • To automate banking processes by implementing new systems to manage banking payments, forecasting and reconciliations

    Banking Relationships

    • To manage the day to day relationships with domestic and global banking relationships
    • To optimise interest rate and manage foreign rate fluctuations
    • To develop strategies to reduce risk including hedging and financial instruments
    • To set up and maintain local bank accounts and cash management processes with remote internal and external teams

    Board and Executive Support

    • To provide and present financial information as required to the Board and Executives within tight deadlines
    • To monitor quarterly and annual compliance with loan agreement from Group
    • To manage cash and debt allocation between share classes

    What are we looking for?

    • Fully qualified professional in either Accounting (CPA or equivalent) or Treasury (CTP)
    • Proven experience managing a team in a collaborative environment
    • Extensive experience working in a corporate or banking treasury or equivalent environment
    • Preferred experience in treasury role within a gaming/gambling organization.
    • Understanding of and experience in the application of financial markets, loan facilities and instruments, hedging and forecasting techniques
    • Experience implementing new software to improve efficiency is desirable
    • Strong analytical and technical skills to deliver accurate financial analysis
    • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to resolve complicated issues quickly
    • Ability to work with tight deadlines and conflicting or changing priorities
    • A team player and strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Proficient with Ms Office Suite including strong Excel skills
