As a Financial Planning Analyst at ACBL, you will work closely with finance team and other departments to provide financial insights, perform financial modeling, and contribute to the company's overall financial health.

You will be responsible for providing monthly financial variance analysis reporting including customer and commodity level revenue analysis, boat and barge expense analysis, trended revenue and expense analysis.

In this role you will also assist with financial planning, forecasting and annual budgeting processes as well as the development of a grounded and challenging annual operating plan.

What You Will Be Doing... Your IMPACT

Assist with monthly financial analysis comparing with plan, prior year and forecast.
Prepare regular rolling forecasts and perform trend analysis.
Assist in the development of a grounded and challenging annual operating plan.
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Sales and Operations teams.
Analyze historical financial data to develop annual budgets for assigned business units.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed to support the company's goals.
What We Are Looking For...

You will need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong data-oriented experience in data mining and FP&A/strategic planning.
Proficiency in using MS Office software.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills and proficiency in modeling – especially Excel.
Good Attention to detail and focus on deliverable/analysis quality and accuracy.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to effectively manage/execute multiple simultaneous tasks with urgency.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:

3-5 years of financial and data analysis experience is preferred.
