    Job Title:

    Registered Respiratory Therapist

    About the Job:

    We are seeking a per diem / prn Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services in Baldwyn, Mississippi.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide ventilatory management and administer therapeutic regimes as needed.
    • Assess and perform acid base, ventilation, oxygenation, quality control, and diagnostic procedures.
    • Conduct clinical and physical assessments to ensure individualized patient-focused therapy.
    • Maintain accurate records and provide complete clinical information.
    • Select, assemble, and maintain equipment while ensuring infection control.
    • Serve as an instructor to students and individuals upon request.

    Requirements:

    • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the NBRC credential.
    • Valid and current Respiratory Care Practitioner License in the state where the facility is located.
    • Demonstrate knowledge and skill to care for a wide range of patients, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
    • Prioritize caring for adults.
    • New incumbents must complete hospital orientation and Respiratory Care Department specific orientation.
