    Description


    General Technologies, Inc., has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician with experience working with maintenance on Injection Molding MachinesMaintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining production and facility equipment to include installation, setup, preventative maintenance and adjustments as needed by technical service instruction.


    Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

    Proficient at troubleshooting problems and finding solutions to reoccurring issuesEfficiently perform work duties in compliance to job priorityMust be familiar with electrical and hydraulic schematicsMust be able to complete jobs assignment in a timely mannerMust have good mechanical skills and familiar with weldingMust be familiar with grinders and conveyor systemsMust be familiar with a preventative maintenance systemMust have some plumbing experience and experience with running electrical Inspects and tests machinery and equipment to detect causes of malfunctions Dismantles machinery and equipment to gain access and perform diagnosis Cleans and lubricates shafts, pulleys, gears, bearing, bushing, etc.

    Repairs hoses, wiring, valves, etc.

    , reassembles and verifies proper functionAnalyzes fault reports and service requests from personnelEffectively communicate with manager and coworkersMaintains meticulous housekeeping with regard to work areas, tool, company vehicles and other company equipment to continually reflect the high standards of the companyAdditional responsibilities as assigned by managerInspects and repairs building; including replacing light bulbs and electronic ballasts fuses, outlets, switches, and other defective partsSafely troubleshoot, repair, and maintains all building systems such as HVAC, pumps, chillers, air compressor, plumbing and electricalMust have the ability to change vacuum filter and check oil level on machinesMust be able to perform inspection of hydraulic hose and valves for oil leaksPerform all duties pertaining to maintenance technician and maintenance helperReports to Maintenance Supervisor/LeadRequirements:
    Must be mechanically inclinedMust be able to take daily instructions from other supervisors/leadsExperience with extruders and grindersMust be familiar with pumps and valvesAbility to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic printsAbility to troubleshoot VFD and PLC Must have the ability to learn at a reasonable rateElectrical and hydraulic knowledge is required Preform general housekeepingBilingual is a plus but not required5+ years of experience in maintenance on injection molding machines Experience in automation is requiredPhysical stamina and strengthMust have good communication skillsMust be flexible; able to work extended hours and weekends when requiredAttendance must be 98% or better Must be able to read and writeHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredSchedule:1st Shift - Monday-Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)
