    Description

    Our very successful and growing client in Arlington, TX is looking for a Senior Tax Associate on a direct hire basis.

    Company Profile:

    Bookkeeping and Tax Return

    Senior Tax Associate Role:

    The Senior Tax Associate will play a key role in providing bookkeeping and tax preparation for clients.

    Responsible for monthly bookkeeping services reconciliation of banks accounts and credit cards

    Bookkeeping responsibilities which could include financial recordkeeping, invoice and payment processing, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, expense tracking, and compliance and documentation.

    Tax return preparation, including but not limited to IRS forms such as 1040, 1120S, and 1065.

    Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as additional reports such as those related to payroll tax compliance and Texas Franchise reporting.

    Senior Tax Associate Background Profile:

    Bachelors degree in Accounting

    3+ years work experience

    CPA is a plus

    QuickBooks (desktop and online) is required

    Required qualifications include a background in accounting, encompassing financial statement preparation and experience in tax return preparation.

    MS Office Suite

    Lacerte Tax software experience is a plus

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

    Strong team player and also the ability to work independently

    Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
