    Description

    Position: Chief Nursing Executive



    As the Chief Nursing Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing, leading, and evaluating all aspects of management to ensure high-quality patient care at our Emergency Services. You'll be responsible for budget administration, staff development, policy implementation, and more.



    Responsibilities:


    • Administer operating budget and prepare financial reports
    • Facilitate collaboration between nursing, medical staff, and other departments
    • Participate in hospital administrative management
    • Work with labor liaisons and lead emergency departments clinical functions
    • Ensure staff have necessary skills for patient care and develop orientation tools

    Requirements:


    • Minimum 5 years of management experience in healthcare leadership
    • Minimum 2 years of budget development
    • Masters in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing with Masters in related field
    • Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support certification

    Additional Skills:


    • Proficiency in computer applications
    • Strong leadership, oral, and written communication skills
    • Analytical problem-solving and project management abilities
    • Knowledge of quality and systems management

    Preferred Qualifications:


    • 3 years of supervisory experience in managed care setting
    • Experience in labor relations and financial systems
    • Certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration
    • Advanced degree in nursing, health care administration, or business
