    Job Description:

    A medium-sized financial institution that is growing quickly is seeking a Treasury Funding Manager to lead the operation of various balance sheet initiatives related to its funding management practices and strategic objectives.

    Location: Frisco, TX (2 days/week)

    Salary: Base up to $160K + bonus

    Visa sponsorship is NOT AVAILABLE

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead the Funding Desk in its daily activities including managing the Federal Reserve cash position, investigating customer wire activity, and producing the daily cost of funds for loan pricing.
    • Determine the appropriate amount of overnight borrowings such as Fed Funds, Euro deposits, and repos to achieve a strategic level of cash balances.
    • Evaluate opportunities and executes funding transactions such as Fed Funds, FHLB borrowings, brokered deposits, and longer-term debt to support strategic goals and initiatives.
    • Develop and provide funding recommendations to Funding Director.
    • Research potential new funding sources.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, dealers, and the Federal Reserve to ensure readiness to execute across various funding channels.
    • Mentor a team of funding analysts on various funding channels, evaluating opportunistic funding options, the evolving capital markets environment, and changing regulatory landscape.
    • Conduct periodic forecasts of expenses related to the wholesale funding portfolio.
    • Engage with numerous areas of the Bank to ensure accurate and consistent reporting, analysis, communication, and projection of funding position
      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field
      • 8 years of Liquidity/Funding experience
      • 6 years of experience managing medium to large projects
      • Experience building financial models
      • Basic knowledge of SAS/SQL is a plus, not a MUST
