Job Summary:
As the leader of the healthcare team, you'll provide professional nursing care following established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Your role involves demonstrating quality work habits, clinical practice, and treating everyone with dignity and respect.
Essential Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse will showcase leadership skills by:

Nursing Process:

• Maintaining accurate and timely charting that reflects nursing interventions.
• Using computer systems efficiently for patient care.

Clinical Outcomes:

• Discussing patient progress with the healthcare team and making nursing decisions based on data interpretation.
• Participating in performance improvement activities.

Workplace Safety:

• Adhering to workplace safety principles and maintaining a safe environment.

Patient Care Experience:

• Practicing customer service standards and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Providing an exceptional patient care experience by meeting patient needs.

• Participating in unit learning needs assessment and professional development.

Fiscal Responsibility:

• Minimizing the use of overtime and maximizing available resources.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in acute care, ambulatory care, or home health/palliative/hospice care.

Education

• N/A

License, Certification, Registration

• Registered Nurse License (California)


• Basic Life Support

Additional Requirements:

• N/A


• PICC didactic course and recent PICC insertion experience may be required.
• Must have the current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oncology/chemotherapy experience
