    Description

    Job Title: Class A Local Truck Driver

    Location: Hudson, NY

    This is a full-time, hourly position that requires the ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays to ensure timely deliveries to our customers. A Class A CDL is required for this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan trips effectively, considering factors such as breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic, and construction.
    • Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport product according to ADM and customer requirements.
    • Manage unforeseen circumstances while operating equipment.
    • Maintain adherence to all government, company, and customer policies and regulations, including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

    Requirements:

    • Age 24 or older
    • One year of verifiable OTR or local tractor-trailer experience in the last seven years
    • Class A Commercial Driver's License REQUIRED; preference given to candidates with a Tanker Endorsement
    • Commitment to ADM's zero injury culture and adherence to company safety procedures
    • No more than one chargeable accident in the last three years
    • No more than one moving violation in the last three years
    • No convictions of DUI, DUS, or open container in the last seven years
    • No positive controlled substance/alcohol tests from prior employer

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    • DOT physical
    • Drug screen
    • 75-pound lift test
    • DOT background check
