    Description

    • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in the Social Sciences, Business or Public Administration, Public Health or a directly related field, plus five years of experience in the planning, implementation or administration of social service, public health or public service programs, of which two years is in a management/supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, provided that the minimum degree requirement is met

    SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
    This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise as part of the interview.

    The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.

    Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:


    • Previous work experience in adolescent sexual health or school health services
    • Previous work experience planning, implementing or administering public health, social service or related field programs, preferably in a public sector setting
    • Previous supervisory experience in managing staff development practices
    • Knowledge of public health principles and the role of health in addressing health equity.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and use of data to inform decision making
