The Operating Company warehouse locations Turns around delivers full trailers with various products to domicile/shuttle yard locations in a safe timely manner according Department of Transportation DOT regulations Communicates interacts with customers vendors co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately timely manner Functions as team member within department organization required perform any duty assigned best serve company Position Responsibilities may include performs all required safety checks i.e pre/post trip inspections including Department Transportations DOT regulations inspects tractor/truck trailer insure meet company safety standards take appropriate action needed Reports all safety issues repairs required Follows all DOT regulations company safe driving guidelines policies Immediately reports safety hazards Inspect trailer properly loaded secured freight Ensures route paperwork available driver upon dispatch Drives delivers trailers predetermined route schedule Performs hook unhook procedures per safety guidelines Parks stores tractor trucks designated areas Ensures equipment freight appropriately locked/secured Collects secures damaged goods customer returns empty bring back driver check-in base facility complete necessary paperwork Unloads equipment materials remove trash from trailers required Completes daily record hours service enter log accordance Federal state company requirements Performs general housekeeping duties tract loading dock area keep clear clean requires
